Dear Every Woman Creator,

Thank you for signing up to do this, and I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

You don’t have to stick 100% to things in my likes list, though I will definitely ask for a happy/hopeful ending and not explicit. I’m going to try and be as open as possible to leave your creativity room to go crazy. Definitely not my intention to shackle you, but hopefully something sparks for you.

You also don’t have to include this, but if it is up your alley, I really like multiple levels of relationships. While I don’t like breakup/cheating fics, I enjoy seeing various levels of relationships. I enjoy romance, but I also truly enjoy explorations of all levels of love – romantic, platonic, familial, etc. For example, I enjoy platonic soulmates who can share a bed without sex, sensuality, etc. entering the picture. I’m big on the healing power of touch, and having that kind of physical interaction/connection.

My general dislikes are all listed on my sign up, but I wanted to reiterate this one: RPF – I don’t like using real people or organizations in fic except in the most general way. (Using the FBI, NYPD, etc. is fine, but please don’t use CNN, MSNBC, Fox, etc. And definitely no real people.)

Definite dislike – Politics! Fandom is my escape from the world and reality, so please avoid politics as much as possible. I know you can’t escape them altogether sometimes, but if it’s a political hot potato, please avoid.

Now, for the fandom specifics:

MCU:
Darcy Lewis is one of my favorite characters, second only to Clint Barton. She’s who got me involved in the MCU fandom. I love her as the sassy, snarky sidekick or the amused/exasperated people-herder. Watching her be this ordinary human dealing with all of the extraordinary – heroes, geniuses, aliens, etc. – is always fascinating. If you choose to write her, I do ask that you NOT conflate her with Max Black (2 Broke Girls). They are very different characters to me.

Natasha Romanoff – I headcanon her as touch-starved. For me, I think that’s how she shows when she trusts someone, when she allows herself to touch, curl into people. She wears various masks, and she can use touch as a weapon, but for her to actually TOUCH someone means something important . . . and for her to curl in or doze off? That’s major!

If you want background pairings, I prefer either woman with Clint or Bucky . . . or poly it.

Ancient Greek Religion & Lore:
Persephone – her story is tough for me, but I enjoy a couple of versions I’ve read where she chose to join Hades, and chose to eat the seeds. As the Queen of the Dead, she holds a particularly powerful role, and I always liked the idea of Hades being an indulgent dominant. Not necessarily sexually, but who draws the lines/borders, but within those he spoils her. If you want a prompt, I’d love to see Persephone defend her choice, or a look at her feelings during the change of the seasons. Or even a day in the life. Go crazy!

Emelan:
Trisana Chandler is my favorite! I can see myself in her. Her friendship with Briar is important to me. She’s another one that I find to be touch-starved – her family’s abuse and neglect building those walls and now she struggles to bring them down. I also enjoy her mentor-student relationship with Niklaren Goldeye. Pretty much anything showing her react with and/or to people – either her (the introvert) trying to figure out how to reach out or someone else trying to reach her – would make me smile, but go where you want!

Grimm:
Juliette Silverton – Okay, I loved Nick & Juliette’s relationship during the first season! I’d love to see a fix-it anything that avoids her canon storyline. Really, go crazy – did she learn about the Wesen and find a way to help? Did she stay innocent of the whole thing? Maybe she became a researcher? Whatever! Please give her the happy home life with occasional Grimm interruptions!

Harry Potter:
Slytherin girls – I want good Slytherins, or at least gray. Were they working behind the scenes while everyone stared at the Golden Trio? Did they become spies for them? Whatever and however you’d like to take it – let’s see some Slytherins who stood up to the whole Voldemort/Death Eaters/Blood purity nonsense!

Fleur Delacour – This beautiful young woman chose Bill Weasley . . . and she didn’t care about his scars. She signed up for a tournament that ended in death in the past. I’d love to see more of her and her interactions with everyone.

The Lord of the Rings:
Lobelia Sackville-Baggins – was she really that irascible, or did she and Bilbo just get off on the wrong foot? What else could she have been doing? I’d love to see her as misunderstood by her own people, but appreciated by . . . passing Dwarrow, Rangers, etc. She helps in one way or another – maybe just by sharing a meal. Whatever. Go for it!!

The Silmarillion:
Yavanna – my favorite of the Ainur, and I love how she balances her husband. But I’d love to see something with her and her creations – Ents (canon) or Hobbits (fanon).
Nienna – I love the idea of her being a mentor to Gandalf.
Tar-Miriel – please do not use anything from Rings of Power – I’d love to see either a fix it, something that allows her to escape, or her thoughts at the end, if somehow you can make that hopeful.
These ladies have such room for world-building . . . it should be fascinating!

I hope this helps spark something, and I hope you enjoy writing!

Thanks!
