PolyA Exchange letter
Apr. 3rd, 2021 09:36 amDear Author,
Thank you so much for joining this exchange!
So I've got a particular weakness for these three spysassins, especially with Darcy Lewis. But if you don't use Darcy, that's fine. She's just a favorite of mine, so I wanted to note her. (The submission form wouldn't let me list her.) If you do include her, I'm good with her as a friend or more. Also good with her helping as handler because some of SHIELD just can't manage it. Again, though, don't feel that you need to include her at all.
Rating - I'm fine with Mature, but not Explicit please.
AU's - fantasy & magic are particular favorites of mine. Magical creatures, powers, etc - if you go this route, go crazy. Fae, shapeshifters - I'm all good. Other thoughts - I love world-building, so if there's a subculture in this to explore, that would be wonderful as well.
A/B/O - I generally prefer pack dynamics, seeing how different dynamics relate to each other as opposed to the sex side. How does a pack come together, stay together, find a balance?
Clint Barton - my favorite of the three and I think stupidly underused by SHIELD. He's just not obvious about his brains. Consider the team Loki used in The Avengers - it wasn't the guy from Asgard or Erik Selvig who put together that team in such a quick amount of time. Anything that reminds people Clint is NOT an idiot is a wonderful thing.
Natasha Romanoff - such a sly, snarky sense of humor this woman has! I enjoy stories that show her "softer" side. Not necessarily her being all fluffy, but with her being the protective mama bear or something is great. Yeah, she's one of - if not *the* - most dangerous women on the planet, but she's also got a huge heart she keeps carefully hidden.
James Barnes - with him, I enjoy seeing him having a place, a home in the team. I always feel like he's a foundation for others, someone who gives them a place to come home. The backbone, the strength, and the feeling of trust that he can give off as well as his willingness to back friends/family to the wall - it all makes him a powerful person.
Other characters I enjoy in case you decide you want cameos - I enjoy both Brock Rumlow & Grant Ward as good guys. (Yeah, I know they ended up being HYDRA, but that's the fun of AU's, right? And they both had such potential that had to be scrapped to make them bad guys.) There are also the other Avengers of course, with Thor having a special place in my heart. If you can put in a cameo of Betty Ross, I will cheer. (She got absolutely shafted by the MCU.)
Anyway, there are a couple of ideas - feel free to ask if you need/want any more details.
Thanks!!
