Thank you so much for being part of this exchange! I’m looking forward to seeing what you create. Hopefully some of these sparks you and you have fun in the writing. Give me the geniuses, the wise women, the counselors, or the homemakers who know it is the heart of the house that pulls the strings.
I have a MAJOR competence kink.
Give me all the fantasy, supernatural, dark, urban magic stuff you’ve ever wanted to write! Or a Mafia AU because that’s always fun. I also don’t mind a Purge AU as long as there’s a happy ending. Also, I enjoy explorations of psychic gifts – especially the mental ones such as telepathy, empathy, etc.
I’m not here for explicit sex, but for the character connections and relationships, so if you want to explore an asexual character, that works for me as well. I only ask that they’re physical in some way – all the cuddling, sensuality, hugging, etc. Touch is very, very important to me.
Hawkeye –
Clint/Kate or Clint & Kate – Clint Barton is my favorite Avenger, hands down, and I fell in love with Kate Bishop after the TV show. These two are ordinary people who step up to be heroes because it’s the right thing to do. I’d love to see something exploring the partnership between these two. She’s got such a lovely optimism that helps him rediscover his heroic side, and he’s got this down-to-earth personality who helps ground her. Feel free to blend in some of the comics, but please keep the wonderful and fully capable character created by the movies/show. (I don’t want Clint to be a disaster.)
Laura isn’t my absolute favorite, but unlike a lot of people, I don’t hate her either. I love how open she was to welcoming Kate into their home. Her strong support of Clint and her devotion to her family give her a strength we don’t see in a lot of the other characters of the MCU (with the exception of Aunt May, really). She’s got a lovely quiet strength, so I’m open to her inclusion.
Hogwarts Legacy –
My current favorite game . . .
Original character/Player character – I prefer female, and please give her a name, house, personality, etc.
Mirabel Garlick/Aesop Sharp – First and foremost, I just enjoy the potential of these two characters. So very different, and yet their areas of expertise dovetail nicely, and both of them certainly seem to respect each other’s gifts. It would be interesting to see something explore the world and time of Hogwarts during this era with these two. Especially dealing with such an interesting student.
Ominis Gaunt/OFC – I really liked Ominis as a character, and I wanted to know his story after the end of the game. Especially with her. (I always had them inform the authorities on Sebastian, so I’d like him to be absent for the story – or distant.) But I’d love to know how the rest of their school years went, and maybe even what happened after. Did Ominis change his name and the two of them went off somewhere? So much potential.
Harry Potter –
Sirius/Lily – I have no idea why these two work for me, but they do! I love the idea of the pure blood rebel and the Muggleborn genius becoming a unit, a force to be reckoned with. And I’d love to see an exploration of Wizarding culture, and the power of the House of Black – especially if they’re some kind of nobility. How would that work if the future Lady Black is Muggleborn?
Sirius/Petunia – Not my usual taste, but I think there is some interesting potential here. If they managed to find a way to connect back in the Marauders era, how would that change things? How would Harry grow up? If you want to stick with the earlier era, would Petunia really ever trust Pettigrew?
Narcissa Black – Personally, I’d love to see an exploration of her, especially if she leaned more towards her cousin Sirius’ ideals. How would she affect things for the side of good with her very Slytherin self? (And yes, I still want her very, very Slytherin!) Could she save Regulus? Could she keep a found family together? Would she take Lily under her wing?
Remus/Narcissa – I love the idea of these two. Narcissa’s potential as the baby sister of both crazy Bellatrix and rebellious Andromeda? Then you throw in the absolute “worst” match (as far as her family was concerned).
Ancient Greece –
Hades/Persephone – they are my favorite myth. I prefer when Persephone is voluntarily there, the Queen of the Dead. Most of the myths showing them have her as the equal partner of Hades, and I much prefer that. I love the idea that she brings a softness to him and light to the Underworld. Please, please, please give them a happy life!!
