Give me all the fantasy, supernatural, dark, urban magic stuff you’ve ever wanted to write! Or a Mafia AU because that’s always fun.
I’m not here for explicit sex, but for the character connections and relationships, so if you want to explore an asexual character, that works for me as well.
You don’t have to include this, but if it is up your alley, I really like multiple levels of relationships. While I don’t like breakup/cheating fics, I enjoy seeing various levels of relationships. So . . . characters A & B are in a strong romantic relationship, but when character B has a particularly tough day, they go cuddle with character C. Outsiders are sure they’re dating or having sex, but they’re not – and the other members in the romantic relationship don’t have any jealousy. (And yes, they may even share a bed, but it’s purely for sleep, cuddling, comfort – not sex.) I enjoy romance, but I also truly enjoy explorations of all levels of love – romantic, platonic, familial, etc.
Hawkeye (2021) - Clint/Kate – I truly enjoy this partnership at both the romantic and platonic level. I’d prefer Clint not be a complete disaster. He’s this awesome Avenger and badass secret agent . . . I’m pretty sure he knows how to survive day to day.
Ancient Greece – Hades/Persephone – this is my favorite myth. I prefer it when she is the willing Queen of the Dead. She’s much too peaceful and relaxed in later stories for her to be unhappy. Honestly, feel free to be as fluffy as you want. Dionysus/Ariadne – I love the opportunity for hurt/comfort here, for Ariadne to find some healing with Dionysus.
Harry Potter – Sirius/Lily & Remus/Narcissa – I have no idea why I like these pairings, but they tug at me. Probably because Remus & Narcissa are on the opposite side of multiple spectrums while Sirius & Lily just scream bad boy/good girl tropes at me. Have fun?!? 😊
