Thank you so much for being part of this exchange! I’m looking forward to seeing what you create. Hopefully some of these sparks you and you have fun in the writing. Mix and match any of the likes you want, and my only hard lines are the DNWs. Fandom specifics are at the end of the letter – and they’re the LONG part.

Give me the geniuses, the wise women, the counselors, or the homemakers who know it is the heart of the house that pulls the strings. I have a MAJOR competence kink. Give me all the fantasy, supernatural, dark, urban magic stuff you’ve ever wanted to write! I love these kind of AU’s. Granted, I also love more mundane AU’s. And soul bonds of all kinds. Werewolves are a particular favorite.
I’ll admit, I’m not into full-on explicit sex. I don’t need – or in most cases, want – to know the play-by-play. What I want is emotional exploration and connection, bonding and growth. If you want to put an E rated scene in there, go for it, but please make the majority of the fic about the characters and their emotional/psychological interactions. (Also, random note, but if you go the A/B/O route, I prefer male alphas and female omegas. Dom/sub – I also prefer male Dom and female sub.)

Clint Barton/Kate Bishop or Clint Barton & Kate Bishop – these are the newest of my fandom obsessions. I enjoy the mentor/student vibe for them as opposed to father & daughter. Yes, that includes both platonic and romantic. I prefer Clint to be experienced and efficient, NOT a disaster. Please don’t have Kate be a dumbass.
Extra Prompt idea:
Meeting during the Blip – I came across this in another exchange and I’d love to see this idea explored more often. Kate’s mother is snapped . . . what happens then? I mean, she was working for Kingpin, and her daughter has to deal with the legalities of getting control of the Bishop money/properties with all of the chaos. Kingpin’s not known for patience or mercy, so how else might he get his pound of flesh, and how does that lead to Kate and Clint meeting?
Clint Barton & Laura Barton & Kate Bishop – Laura was quick to welcome Kate with a hug when she showed up at Christmas. Laura’s also been a big support/help for Clint during all of his work as an agent and Avenger. How do the Bartons help Kate keep her head on straight and above water as she becomes the hero she wants to be? Give me all the family feels. Or maybe it’s more a case of the Bartons to the rescue at some point?
Extra Prompt idea:
Family therapy – which isn’t exactly like they all go to a therapist . . . though if you want to go there . . . XD. But more that Kate shows up on their doorstep at zero-dark-thirty because of her mother’s trial. What else might have gone on at the Bishops’ home? What else might be coming out that Kate didn’t know and how does she react? How do they help her?
Clint Barton & Kate Bishop & Phil Coulson – Okay, this would amuse the hell out of me. First Clint brought a Russian assassin to Phil, and now he’s bringing a new archer. Clint is like a cat that enjoys bringing gifts home and expects to be praised. Phil as Clint’s mentor and Clint as Kate’s . . .
Clint Barton & Wanda Maximoff – for these two, I have definite father & daughter vibes. Again, I don’t like Clint being a disaster, not when he’s an agent at such a high level in SHIELD. Oh, and if you could incorporate Clint’s hearing loss, that’d be fantastic! Doesn’t it seem like someone with a clue might have called Clint during the Westview craziness?
Yes, I’ve got a fixation with Clint Barton from the MCU. If you want to mix and match any of the prompts and characters from the above fandoms, I’m all for it! My favorite Clint ships are: Clint/Darcy, Clint / or & Kate, Clint/Darcy/Bucky, Clint/Darcy/Natasha. I also love Clint as the one who collects broken people and helps them find a steady foundation. Clint as landlord or alpha for a wolf pack – whatever spins your wheels! (Also, I headcanon that Bucky is bi while the Soldier is a separate/almost-separate personality who is aro.)
Darcy Lewis & Wanda Maximoff – I really wish we’d gotten to see these two meet and work together! Darcy was the character that got me into the MCU and I love the idea of these two strong women siding with each other to take down the bad guys.
James “Bucky” Barnes/Darcy Lewis/Wanda Maximoff – Brand new for me, but I love the idea of Bucky dealing with these two women. No clue why Bucky would be at Westview . . . maybe he came with the scientists? Or maybe he was already there for some reason and got caught up in the Hex. (Also, I headcanon that Bucky is bi while the Soldier is a separate/almost-separate personality who is aro.)
Non-Marvel fandoms:
Narnia –
Peter Pevensie/Jill Pole – This is a couple that has intrigued me for a while because it’s got to be tough to find people who understand you when you’ve lived such a unique life. I’d love to see them in Narnia, but the regular world works too. For me, Jill & Eustace are platonic soulmates, so them being close friends would also be an awesome thing. How does it work if one of the Kings or Queens of Narnia gets married? What is it like to live in the court at Cair Paravel?
The Pevensie siblings – I’d love to see them grow into their royal powers and names – and learning to be leaders of such a unique kingdom with so many different peoples. How do they divide the work and coordinate their efforts? What peoples do they each grow closest to and how do they help all these different groups interact? Court life, battles/wars, negotiations, life in Cair Paravel . . . let’s see it all!
Aslan & Edmund Pevensie – Edmund grows from ‘the former traitor’ into ‘the Just’ and he depends on his faith in Aslan to do just that. How does he reconnect with his siblings and his subjects while finding his own footing as a king? What kind of conversation or connection does he have with Aslan to help him stay strong until suspicions fade?
Harry Potter –
Remus Lupin/Narcissa Black – Just because there need to be more of them. I love the strengths implied by Narcissa’s characterization in the books, and I’d love to see how those could be expanded and grown if she had a better start/support. Also, I’d love to see the Blacks as a . . . power behind the throne kind of family, and Narcissa actually on good terms with Sirius. Really, go crazy with this one.
