Hi! I’m Caiti and welcome to my exchange letter. Thank you so much for being willing to write!
You don’t have to stick 100% to things in my likes list. I’m going to try and be as open as possible to leave your creativity room to go crazy. Definitely not my intention to shackle you, but hopefully something sparks for you.
General Likes:
Deep characterization
Modern AU’s – Supernatural, fantasy, mythological, whimsical, soulmates
Happy endings – or hopeful at the very least
Ratings: G, T, or M
Fluff
Domestic/slice of life
Found family
Hurt/comfort
Pregnancy/kids – except MPREG
Character bonding
World building
You don’t have to include this, but if it is up your alley, I really like multiple levels of relationships. While I don’t like breakup/cheating fics, I enjoy seeing various levels of relationships. So . . . characters A, B, & C are a closed triad, but character A has a strong platonic relationship with character D. Outsiders are sure they’re dating or having sex, but they’re not – and characters B & C know that without question. (And yes, they may even share a bed, but it’s purely for sleep, cuddling, comfort – not sex.) I enjoy romance, but I also truly enjoy explorations of all levels of love – romantic, platonic, familial, etc.

1st or 2nd person POV
Anti-religion/Religion bashing
Crack fics
Chat fics
Power imbalance in a relationship
Major character death – unless part of reincarnation or afterlife AU
Unhappy endings
No explicit sex, smut, PWP, etc.
Underage or incest
Breakup/cheating/infidelity fics
Embarrassment
ABO
MPreg
RPF – I don’t like using real people or organizations in fic except in the most general way. (Using the FBI, NYPD, etc. is fine, but please don’t use CNN, MSNBC, Fox, etc. And definitely no real people.)
Definite dislike – Politics! Fandom is my escape from the world and reality, so please avoid politics as much as possible. I know you can’t escape them altogether sometimes, but if it’s a political hot potato, please avoid.
Fandoms:
Marvel Cinematic Universe – Clint Barton/Laura Barton/Natasha Romanoff
Loves – Post mission h/c, fluff, family, domestic
Likes – Figuring out how to make it work with two spies and a civilian, rescue mission where Laura gets to be the badass
DNW – Laura treated as some kind of subordinate character shoehorned into Clint/Natasha. Loki as anything other than a villain.
Favorite secondary characters – Darcy Lewis, James Barnes, Wanda Maximoff, Yelena Belova, Kate Bishop
Least favorite secondary characters – None really come to mind right off the bat, though I’d prefer less Steve, Tony, and Thor this time around.
Random notes – I prefer Laura as a straight civilian, but I’m open to something in her SHIELD working days as well. Story can be with or without the kids.
Teen Wolf – Derek Hale/Lydia Martin/Stiles Stilinski
Loves – Family/pack dynamics, dealing with issues that come with a pack
Likes – Gray morality, Derek dealing with two geniuses on a research tear
DNW – Much like MCU, I don’t want Lydia being subordinate/shoehorned in.
Favorite secondary characters –Alison Argent, Chris Argent, Melissa McCall, Peter Hale, Liam Dunbar
Least favorite secondary characters – Scott McCall, Jackson Whittemore, Malia Tate
Random notes – I really do like the characterization of Peter Hale as portrayed during season 6.
