Friday 5 for December 4th
Dec. 3rd, 2020 04:43 pmA little early because tomorrow is going to be busy, but . . .
Answers for The Friday Five
1) What are your favorite things that are paper? Books - hands down, I love books. SciFi/Fantasy and great English literature. My all time favorite author is JRR Tolkien followed by CS Lewis. Beyond that though, I love the classics - Shakespeare, Chaucer, Austen, Dickens, Brontë (Charlotte specifically), Beowulf, Poe, Hawthorne, Twain, Fitzgerald . . .
2) What are your favorite things that are cotton? Probably clothes, or maybe sheets. It's a very comfortable fabric. Its a pretty common one, but its casual and comfortable. The perfect fabric to relax in.
3) What are your favorite things that are leather? Jackets. I love leather jackets - especially on a good-looking guy. Plus, it gives an attitude right off the bat. No need to say or do anything - just stride in, head up and eyes focused, and leather can give an impression.
4) What are your favorite things that are floral? Wreaths, which I admit are on my mind because of the season. The sides of highways and roads - wildflowers are wonderful. They're gorgeous spots of color. But if I'm thinking gifts? Something homemade with images of flowers - they last longer.
5) What are your favorite things that are wood? Crucifixes, bookshelves, and knick-knacks. That sounds funny, but I love having little figures I can hold and fiddle with as I'm trying to think. Wood has a good feel and it can stay warm.
