Thank you so much for being part of this exchange! I’m looking forward to seeing what you create. Hopefully some of these sparks you and you have fun in the writing. Mix and match any of the likes you want, and my only hard lines are the DNWs. Fandom notes are at the bottom if you want to skip down.

I have a MAJOR competence kink.
I’m not here for explicit sex, but for the character connections and relationships, so if you want to explore an asexual character, that works for me as well. I only ask that they’re physical in some way – all the cuddling, sensuality, hugging, etc. Touch is very, very important to me.
EXCHANGE NOTE – On this exchange, I prefer the women’s hair being the focus, but that’s not going to make or break my enjoyment of your fic. It’s just a preference, to see tough guys being gentle with their ladies.
FANDOMS:
Hawkeye –
Clint/Kate or Clint & Kate – I love these two in any combination and any level of relationship. Clint is my favorite Avenger, and I’ve grown to adore Kate as well. Neither of them has any special powers or suits or anything like that. They are two ordinary people who step up and become heroes because they have the guts to do what’s right. And they have to practice, work their ass off to stand with the big guys. Also, much as I love the artwork of the comics, I prefer Clint to be the efficient and intelligent secret agent & Avenger – please don’t let him be a disaster.
Ancient Greece –
Hades/Persephone is my favorite pair in all of Greek myth. She’s so powerful as the Queen of the Dead, and he treats her as an equal. I prefer seeing them as deeply in love, and she hates being away from him just as much as he hates her being away. Dionysus/Ariadne are another favorite, and I love the way he rescues her after she’s abandoned. Anything that shows him helping her recover from the trauma of that would be fantastic! For all that Dionysus is usually shown drunk, or mad, or spilling excess all over the place, I’d prefer to see other sides of him. (Through I’m good with drinking/getting drunk being involved!). Eros/Psyche are my third favorite pairing, and I love seeing the different sides they bring out in each other. Eros gets lost in his mother’s shadow so often, when he’s truly got all this power, and Psyche brings him humanity and an empathy he didn’t have before.
Emelan –
Trisana/Briar or Trisana & Briar – These two are my favorite characters from this series, and Trisana seemed to be the perfect character for an exchange involving hair. Given the patience one needs to cultivate in order to work with plants, I could see Briar being one of the few people truly able to reach Tris. Personally I prefer the first quartet of books and Will of the Empress. I enjoy the other characters as well, so I wouldn’t mind cameos.
Harry Potter – I chose a small variety of pairings because I thought any and all of them would be fantastic for this exchange. Really, I’d love to see some worldbuilding here, and how intimate hair and hair care can be. Sirius/Lily are my favorites, but I also love the idea of Narcissa with either Remus or James. Opposites attract is a trope I love, can we tell? Severus & Petunia are kind of odd choices, but I enjoy different takes on Petunia, so this could be interesting. And then Harry & Hermione have been favorites from the beginning.
Chronicles of Narnia – Peter/Jill – These two have always intrigued me. Peter’s the king, and Jill’s the only one of the younger Friends of Narnia who isn’t related to him. I could see his sense of responsibility leading him to take a particular interest in her. I’m open to something happening after they all return from Narnia, or some kind of divergence that leads them all to be in Narnia at the same time. Explorations about Narnia’s Golden Age culture OR these changed kids trying to reintegrate back into regular society . . . all of it would be wonderful.
