Dear MFT Creator,
Thank you so much for being part of this exchange! I’m looking forward to seeing what you create. Hopefully some of these sparks you and you have fun in the writing. And I’m into women who are kickass – especially if it’s NOT in the physical sense. Give me the geniuses, the wise women, the counselors, or the homemakers who know it is the heart of the house that pulls the strings.
I have a MAJOR competence kink.
Give me all the fantasy, supernatural, dark, urban magic stuff you’ve ever wanted to write! Or a Mafia AU because that’s always fun. I also don’t mind a Purge AU as long as there’s a happy ending. Also, I enjoy explorations of psychic gifts – especially the mental ones such as telepathy, empathy, etc.
I’m not here for explicit sex, but for the character connections and relationships, so if you want to explore an asexual character, that works for me as well. I only ask that they’re physical in some way – all the cuddling, etc. Touch is very, very important to me.
Fandoms:
Hawkeye – Clint/Kate or Clint & Kate – Clint Barton is my favorite Avenger, hands down, and I fell in love with Kate Bishop after the TV show. These two are ordinary people who step up to be heroes because it’s the right thing to do. I’d love to see something exploring the partnership between these two. She’s got such a lovely optimism that helps him rediscover his heroic side, and he’s got this down-to-earth personality who helps ground her. Feel free to blend in some of the comics, but please keep the wonderful and fully capable character created by the movies/show. (I don’t want Clint to be a disaster.)
Ancient Greece – Hades/Persephone – they are my favorite myth. I prefer when Persephone is voluntarily there, the Queen of the Dead. Most of the myths showing them have her as the equal partner of Hades, and I much prefer that. I love the idea that she brings a softness to him and light to the Underworld.
Harry Potter – Sirius/Lily – I have no idea why these two work for me, but they do! I love the idea of the pure blood rebel and the Muggleborn genius becoming a unit, a force to be reckoned with. And I’d love to see an exploration of Wizarding culture, and the power of the House of Black. How would that work if the future Lady Black is Muggleborn. (Background characters I’d love – Remus & Narcissa. Additional note – I’m perfectly GOOD with them outsmarting manipulative Dumbledore and stalker Snape.)
